Links to Australian state and territory co-operatives law

The regulation of Australian businesses, mutuals and non profit organisations is shared between the federal, state and territory governments. The federal government regulates companies, financial institutions and health insurance mutuals, while state and territory governments regulate co-operatives, incorporated associations, partnerships and business names.
