In 2001, CDS published a
Co-operative's Director's Handbook
for participants of director training workshops conducted by CDS.
The 60 page handbook gives co-operative directors an overview of their
duties and responsibilities, and outlines strategies to reduce their
liabilities and improve the performance of the board.

Fuel Co-operatives in Victoria
In 2001, CDS was commissioned by the
Victorian Government
to prepare a report
on fuel
co-operatives in Victoria. The 24 page report contains an overview of the oil
industry,
information on co-operatives and other organisations
that supply fuel to primary producers and other consumers, and assistance
that
local
government could provide in promoting and facilitating fuel co-operatives
within their municipalities.
