Welcome to Australian Co-operative Links

Australian Co-operative Links is an online directory that contains website links to over 350 Australian co-operatives and more than 190 national and international co-operative related organisations around the world.

Co-operative Development Services Ltd compiled and maintains Australian Co-operative Links to provide interested persons with an insight into the broad range of activities undertaken by Australian co-operatives and the extent of the world-wide co-operative movement.

Co-operatives have existed in Australia for over 140 years. Since the first known co-operative was formed in Queensland in 1859, co-operatives have spread across Australia following the nation's pattern of economic and social development.

Today, there are more than 2,500 co-operatives operating in Australia covering a diverse range of activities - from financial services, community enterprises and business services to agriculture, consumer buying groups and social enterprises.

Australian Co-operative Links reflects this diversity by providing links to Australian co-operatives by industry, state of registration and A to Z. The directory also provides a comprehensive list of links to most major co-operative websites around the world.

Australian Co-operative Links is periodically updated as new websites are identified.

Please email CDS if any of the links are not functioning or you wish to add your co-operative's link to Australian Co-operative Links.
